Ben McKenzie’s female fans are NOT causing problems in his relationship with Morena Baccarin, despite a bogus tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it’s “false.”
According to OK!, the couple hit a rough patch when Baccarin supposedly became “strangely insecure” after giving birth to their first child earlier this year. A so-called “source” tells the magazine that the couple’s supposed issues are a result of the actress being jealous of McKenzie’s many female admirers, adding, “Whenever a woman comes up to Ben and asks for a picture or his autograph, Morena will flip out on him afterward.”
The tabloid’s dubious insider adds, “He thinks it’s ridiculous and insists that being friendly is just part of the job, but she constantly picks fights about it.” But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the couple, who exclusively assures us their relationship is going strong, and the outlet’s claim she’s jealous of his fans is simply “false.”
As Gossip Cop reported, McKenzie and Baccarin announced that they were both dating and expecting a baby last September after meeting on set of the FOX series, “Gotham,” in which they co-star together. On March 2, the couple welcomed a baby girl named Frances Laiz Setta Schenkkan, and the two have also revealed they plan to get married in the near future.
